Candidate experience is becoming more and more important when attracting talent to your organization. With the learning curve of social media starting to flatten and candidates doing more research on organizations, the recruiter and hiring manager need to be conscious of this component of hiring. It is not hard to provide a good candidate experience. Put yourself in the applicant’s shoes and treat them in a respectful manner and it will go a long way, even if the person does not land the job! Don’t have the potential hire jump through hoops. Make things easier for them. Keep them informed, treat them well. It’s really that easy.
